ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, (CCIA, CTT)

Dr. Hj Azmi Bin Hj. Mohd is Associate Professor of School of Management Asia e University and Forensic Integrity Consultant and Corruption Risk Management Consultant of IMC Solution (Integrity Management and Consultancy). He is a retired Senior Assistant Commissioner of Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). Besides of being Certified of Corruption Investigation Activities (MACC), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Azmi possesses a Doctorate Degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia specialized area in Transformational Leadership and Governance. He is also Corporate Advisor to iFREE Group Telecommunication Sdn Bhd, and has been appointed as Corruption Risk Consultant of Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), GAMUDA Berhad, Steel Hawk Engineering Bhd, Malacca State River and Coast Management Corporation, Johore Malacca Water Company Berhad, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), UMP Holdings Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Water Asset Management, and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy Expert Speaker on Certified Integrity Officer (CelO) program.

Currently, he was also part-time lecturer in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in College of Law, Governance and International Studies. Assoc. Prof. Dr.Hj. Azmi also was an expert speaker on topics of Forensic Integrity and Prevention Corruption in Supply Chain Management for Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy(MACA). With almost 30 years working experiences in MACC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj .Azmi have being presented papers (representing MACC) on corruption related topics at international stages in India, Thailand, Brunei, Taiwab, Cambodia and Singapore organized by United Nations Office of Drug and Crime (UNODC) and South East Asia Parties Against Corruption (SEA-PAC) during his tenure in MACC. During his services with MACC, Assoc.Prof. Dr Hj Azmi also represented MACC in several conferences organized by United Nation Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).

As a subject matter expert during his tenure in MACC particularly on corruption investigation, prosecution, foreign bribery and forensic integrity, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj Azmi has been invited as guest speaker in these area to several government ministries, agencies and government link companies. His leadership with MACC in areas of investigation, prosecution, prevention, transnational investigation in corruption matters, and issues on managing integrity made him an expert in corruption investigation, corruption risk management/assessment, organizational integrity assessment, law of corruption, and strategic management in corruption.

He also has published international academic journal on the topic “The Implication of Transformational Leadership Style, Organizational Commitment, and Teamwork Performance among Law Enforcement in Malaysia”.

As his high contribution in his fields, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Azmi being honoured to receive CHT International Award in 2017. This award being given to outstanding individual who has excelled in his respective industries and contribution to the society.
